The Semantics of Intelligence Illustrated in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men
From the Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute, this unit's purpose is to develop critical thinking skills through an understanding of just what intelligence is. It is aimed at HS students, but those with a below-average reading ability. It focuses on Lennie, the 'retard.'
